Is there anything about your style or genre that you find particularly challenging?Īmy: I write in first person, present tense, and my style is pretty casual.

I’ve worked for online news publications and been published in literary magazines under a different pen name.įiona: When did you first consider yourself a writer?įiona: What inspired you to write your first book?Īmy: I wrote my first romance because a friend suggested I try writing for the MM romance market after reading some of my slash fan fiction. I sold my first poem when I was sixteen and my first short story when I was nineteen. I live with my wife, daughter, and dog in a suburb of Salt Lake City.Īmy: My latest news is that I’ll be releasing An Egg for Ansel (sequel to A Pebble for Lewis) on January 10 th.įiona: When and why did you begin writing?Īmy: I’ve written since I was a kid. In addition to being an author, I’m also a librarian. I’m 34 years old.įiona: A little about your self (ie, your education, family life, etc.).Īmy: My undergraduate degree is in English literature, and my master’s degree is in library science.
